Job Summary and Responsibilities The incumbent is responsible for the administration and direct application of Speech/Language Pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. The incumbent evaluates plans, directs, and treats all patients referred to speech/language according to the practice and standards of the American Speech and Hearing Association & California Board of Speech Pathology. The incumbent also provides pathology treatments to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury.

When called upon the incumbent shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement, monitor and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program.

Job Requirements

Offering a $7,500 Sign‑on Bonus for qualified applicants

Minimum Qualifications

Current California Speech/Language Pathologist license required

One year of experience as a speech therapist

Knowledge and ability to perform a speech pathology assessment and evaluation required

Knowledge of principles, concepts, diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for speech therapy required

Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite required

Current BLS certification required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications

One year of home care experience preferred
