POSITION SUMMARY We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Staff Physical Therapist, Bellevue Hospital. In this role, the successful candidate evaluates physical therapy needs and implements comprehensive, medically prescribed physical therapy treatment to assigned patients in a supervised program of rehabilitation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Initial Assessment and Evaluation of Physical Therapy needs for specifically assigned patient.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsible for certain level of patient care productivity as indicated by individual Unit Procedures.
Participates in Clinical Education of Fieldwork students and other professional educational endeavors.
Completes all required documentation for patient care and reimbursement.
Implements Treatment Plans and Protocol according to current professional and health system standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy; New York State Physical Therapy License or temporary permit; Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic cardiopulmonary life support certification (BCLS certification).. REQUIRED LICENSES: Phys Thrpst License-NYS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preferred Qualifications: Masters or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.

SALARY AND COMPENSATION NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $65,867.14 - $81,120.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
