Position Overview As an Inside Sales Account Manager at H.B. Fuller, you will manage a defined sales territory within the Hygiene, Health, and Consumable Adhesives Global Business Unit. You’ll drive growth, retain and expand customer relationships, and serve as a strategic partner through phone and digital engagement. This role is key to ensuring seamless transitions and maximizing customer success.
Primary Responsibilities
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through proactive outreach.
Execute a consistent call cycle (35–45 calls/day) and document interactions in CRM.
Conduct virtual meetings to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
Serve as a trusted advisor by providing technical and product support.
Occasionally visit local customer sites to strengthen relationships.
Manage existing accounts and identify opportunities for growth.
Develop and execute regional sales plans to meet revenue targets.
Implement pricing strategies and manage assigned sales budgets.
Identify and pursue new leads using tools like LinkedIn and ZoomInfo.
Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or marketing field (or equivalent experience).
3–7 years of professional sales experience, preferably in chemical, packaging, medical or hygiene industries.
Proven success in account management and new business development.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including virtual presentations.
Proficiency in MS Office and internet-based tools.
CRM platform experience.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and sell across organizational levels.
Self-motivated, organized, and data-driven.
Preferred Requirements
Experience with Salesforce.com.
Advanced consultative selling skills.
Experience in chemical, packaging, medical, or hygiene industries.
Familiarity with virtual sales tools and platforms.
Experience collaborating across international teams; French language skills are a plus.
