Perini Management Services Inc., a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a
Construction Project Engineer
to join the construction team to restore Park Service landmarks.
As a
Project Engineer
at Perini Management Services, you will have the opportunity to:
Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination
Collaborate with architects and engineers throughout all phases of construction, including pre‑construction/design phases.
Assist in developing project budgets, timelines, and procurement plans.
Review and manage design documents for constructability and distribute to client & subcontractors.
Construction Management
Assist with developing and maintaining the project schedule, including monthly updates and progress tracking.
Process change orders and manage scope changes between the client, subcontractors, and designers.
Assist in securing vendors and subcontractors.
Monitor costs and assist with budget management.
Identify and mitigate project risks.
Coordinate with the owner and security officers for base access and ensure proper clearance.
Construction Oversight
Support and oversee day‑to‑day construction activities to ensure alignment with plans and specifications.
Assist in monitoring worksite safety and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Assist in the coordination of subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services.
Documentation & Reporting
Document and coordinate meetings, track actions, and record decisions.
Manage submittals and RFIs.
Support QC inspections and ensure project quality standards are maintained.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a similar degree from an accredited institution.
3+ years of project engineering experience on Federal Projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer literacy.
Proficiency with Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Procore.
Willing to travel and relocate to San Juan, Puerto Rico project location.
Ability to obtain an Employer‑Sponsored U.S. Government Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Pay Range:
$70,000 – $90,000.
