Pay: $36.67/hr.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct testing of electrical machines, inverters, and related subcomponents.

Prepare and instrument test articles, build wiring harnesses, and fabricate fixtures for test setups.

Operate and maintain test equipment such as dynamometers, variable frequency drives, battery simulators, and data acquisition systems.

Configure, calibrate, and tune control units and microcontrollers for system testing.

Measure and record data including voltage, current, torque, speed, vibration, and temperature.

Develop and execute both manual and automated test procedures following safety and quality standards.

Process and analyze test data, generate detailed test reports, and share results with engineering teams.

Design and improve test setups, procedures, and documentation for new or existing lab equipment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, technicians, and vendors to support test operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field preferred.

3+ years of experience in a test laboratory environment.

1+ years of experience with electric motors and/or inverters.

Hands‑on experience using power and hand tools to build wiring harnesses and fixtures.

Proficiency with dynamometer systems (e.g., ADACs, AVL, Horiba, Siemens, Webasto).

Experience with data acquisition tools (e.g., NI, IMC, ATI, Yokogawa, AVL).

Strong data analysis skills using software such as MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, or similar tools.

Knowledge of test engineering principles and safety practices.
