Our Client, an AV Manufacturing company, is looking for a Regional HR Operations Manager for their Wayne, PA location.
Responsibilities: Operational Excellence:
Ensure the timely and accurate execution of all HR Operational processes for employees in the USA and Canada, adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Lead initiatives to streamline processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
Hands‑On Leadership and Development:
Actively lead and participate in HR and payroll operations, demonstrating best practices and guiding the team through complex challenges.
Coach and mentor team members, fostering skills development and a culture of learning and accountability. Cultivate a culture of growth, inclusivity, and high performance within the HR Operations team.
Strategic and Operational HR Management:
Implement and oversee HR initiatives with a hands‑on approach, ensuring alignment with global strategies and operational excellence.
Apply deep functional knowledge to optimize HR services, including policy implementation, benefits administration, and recruitment processes.
Process Standardization:
Working with your regional counterparts, establish standard operating processes that deliver consistent ways of working across all HR Operations, that deliver excellent employee experiences.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of HR and employment legislation and compliance requirements in both the USA and Canada. Implement risk management strategies to safeguard against operational errors and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations. Promote an ethical workplace, integrating our core values into every aspect of HR operations and decision‑making.
HR Operations Leadership:
As a member of the Global HR Operations Leadership Team (HR Ops LT) contribute to the development of strategic initiatives and functional direction. Actively represent the interests of the North America business within the HR Ops LT and represent HR Operations as part of the client US and Canada HR leadership team.
Management of Vendor Relationships:
Manage the operational business relationships with service providers to HR in your region. Ensure contractual compliance and assess vendor performance to guarantee high‑quality service delivery. Work with relevant procurement colleagues and HR Operations Leadership to negotiate contracts.
Analytics and Reporting:
Ensure consistent, high‑quality data in our primary source systems. Utilize (operational) data analytics to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, process improvements, and opportunities for automation.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree level education ideally in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent demonstrable experience)
Minimum 6 years in HR Operations with 3+ years in a leadership role, preferably within a large, diverse, and changing environment in the USA and Canada.
In depth understanding of processes development and delivery in an HR Operations environment. Knowledge of federal, state, and local HR laws in the USA and Canada.
Proven ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously with accuracy and confidentiality.
Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
5+ years experience managing employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans (may want to add additional language here)
Experience managing a complex open enrolment process, vendor coordination, managing the benefits broker relationship and employee communications.
Ability to resolve employee benefit inquiries and elevate complex issues appropriately.
Solid understanding and strong experience in managing the administration and compliance of retirement plans.
Strong knowledge of benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA)
Experience supporting full‑cycle recruitment including interview scheduling, candidate communications, and offer letter preparation.
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
Ability to collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure smooth candidate experience.
Strong organizational skills to manage high‑volume scheduling and logistics.
