Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Grayling, MI
A full‑time Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school setting located in Grayling, MI. This contract position spans the current school year, starting ASAP with an end date of June 12th, 2026. The role provides an opportunity to work across a diverse range of age groups, from early intervention through high school, offering valuable hands‑on experience in various educational environments.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic services to students across different age groups, from early intervention up to high school.
Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support students communication needs.
Perform home visits and preschool visits as part of service delivery.
Utilize teletherapy techniques when applicable to reach students remotely.
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings and trainings.
Desired Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (SLP‑CCC).
Experience working in school settings, including K-12 environments.
Familiarity with pediatric speech‑language pathology, including early intervention.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with students, families, and staff.
Willingness to conduct home and community visits.
Comfort with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery.
Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
