What You’ll Do You’ll lead plant operations for a high‑volume food production facility that employs about 150 people across production, maintenance, and quality. This role reports directly to executive team and serves as the top decision‑maker for the operation. Key responsibilities include:
Lead all site‑level operations with a focus on productivity, labor efficiency, and quality
Manage and mentor a team of 5 direct reports across Operations, Maintenance, and Quality personnel
Create accountability, build expectations, and coach leaders at all levels
Monitor performance metrics and initiate improvements across all shifts
Work with quality department to oversee compliance with USDA, FDA, SQF, and internal food safety standards
Help guide capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Foster a team culture rooted in safety, reliability, and ownership
What You’ll Bring
BS/BA is required; ideally in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Operations Management, Business or related
10+ years in food or beverage manufacturing, with at least 3+ years at the Plant Manager or Director level
Experience leading teams with direct reports and 100+ employees in a food manufacturing operation, USDA is a plus
Ability to drive performance while building trust and accountability
Strong track record of improving operations, coaching leaders, and strengthening plant culture
Familiarity with USDA/FDA/SQF regulations is a plus
Bi‑lingual English / Spanish is a plus
