KEY RESPONSIBILITY Oversee and optimize warehouse management for MRO inventories raw materials and finished goods, ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient space utilization while implementing operational improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce storage costs, and manage packing and shipping processes to ensure smooth operations aligned with customer demands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Space Optimization

Develop and apply practical storage arrangements within the existing warehouse layout to improve material accessibility and support smoother workflows, making optimal use of the available space.

Warehouse Management

Supervise and coordinate all staff, operational activities and resource needs related to the receipt and internal movement of materials such as MRO, raw materials, and finished goods, ensuring efficient and accurate execution both physically and at the system level (ERP).

Safety and Compliance

Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety among warehouse staff.

Communication

Work closely with buying/planning, production and logistics teams to ensure that all materials are available when needed, and that finished goods are shipped in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.

Inventory Management

Ensure the accurate tracking and storage of MRO inventories, raw materials, and finished goods adhering to FIFO concepts and collaborating closely with the procurement team to maintain alignment with production schedules and customer requirements.

Operational Improvements

Identify and execute process improvements to enhance the efficiency of warehouse operations, focusing on reducing costs, minimizing waste, and streamlining packing and shipping procedures.

Cost Reduction

Quantify the cost reduction generated by space optimization, inventory management, packing process and other process improvement initiatives.

Documentation

Creating, updating, distributing or training to, documents related to the position/function, such as, but not limited to, procedures, instructions, flow charts, reports or metrics as assigned by the employee or management.

QUALIFICATION REQUERIMENTS

Previous experience in warehouse management or in a supply chain environment, ideally with a focus on inventory operations

Demonstrated experience in supervising teams and coordinating the receipt and movement of materials.

Experience working with ERP systems for inventory management and warehouse operations

Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, space optimization, and process improvement.

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with planning, production, procurement, and logistics teams

Problem-solving and decision-making skills

Knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations related to material handling and storage

Ability to implement and maintain safety policies and promote a safety culture in the workplace.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Ability to design and maintain accurate and detailed documentation such as procedures, instructions, and metric

High level of integrity and reliability.
