Traveling Multi Family Superintendent
Base pay range: $100,000 - $130,000 per year.
We are seeking an experienced Traveling Multi Family Superintendent. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, enjoys the challenge of multi-tasking, and has a passion for travel. This position will take you to various locations where you will oversee the construction and maintenance of multi-family residential properties including assisted living facilities, dorms, student housing, and apartments.
Responsibilities
Oversee all stages of project life cycle and ensure that all projects are delivered on‑time, within scope and within budget.
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors, interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring subcontractors and working with engineers, architects, and vendors.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
Participate in project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, specifically with senior living, assisted living multi‑family, dorm, student housing, and apartment projects.
Proven track record of overseeing all phases of multi‑million dollar construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Ability to travel frequently and relocate as needed.
Proficient in interpreting blueprints and project plans.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
OSHA certification or willingness to obtain.
Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
