Learning and Development Coordinator – Corrugated Division
Location:
Remote (up to 75% travel supporting Georgia‑Pacific Corrugated facilities, average 3 weeks a month).

If you have a passion for helping others discover and grow their capabilities, Georgia‑Pacific Corrugated is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver impactful training programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of our workforce across multiple packaging facilities, including box, sheet, mailers, and digital graphics production. You’ll use a systematic approach to learning to ensure employees are confident, capable, and qualified, setting them up for both immediate and long‑term success.
You’ll collaborate closely with operations leaders to align learning with business needs, share best practices, and help create a consistent and positive learning experience that supports our principle‑based culture.
What You Will Do
Design, develop, and maintain training content that supports safe and efficient plant operations.
Partner with Operations Leaders and Plant Trainers to ensure employees are trained, qualified, and supported through every stage of their learning journey.
Observe, evaluate, and provide feedback on training activities using a systematic, principle‑based approach to capability building.
Collaborate across sites to ensure alignment and consistency in orientation, onboarding, and qualification processes.
Maintain training documentation and qualification guides in accordance with Georgia‑Pacific standards.
Support the Technical Standards Program and ensure training aligns with operational and compliance requirements.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and job aids to enhance learning effectiveness.
Demonstrate self‑leadership by taking initiative, setting clear priorities, and delivering commitments.
Model and teach Principle Based Management® by helping others connect their work to our guiding principles and discover how to create value through learning.
Support the development of employees’ capabilities to help them reach their full potential and contribute to a culture of lifelong learning.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting training, learning, or operations qualification processes.
Experience developing or coordinating training programs or materials for plant operations or maintenance roles.
Demonstrated experience writing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or work instructions.
Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) to build, track, or present learning content.
Demonstrated experience facilitating or coordinating learning activities for groups of employees, including onboarding, cross‑training, or skills development.
Willing and able to travel up to 75% of the time to Georgia‑Pacific Corrugated facilities across the U.S.
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience developing or maintaining training documentation systems, such as a Learning Management System (LMS) or Accelerator Knowledge Management System (AKMS).
Experience implementing or supporting change management or transformation initiatives within manufacturing operations.
Prior corrugated packaging or paper manufacturing experience.
Familiarity with systematic approaches to training (SAT) or other adult learning methodologies.
For this role, we anticipate paying $85,000 - $100,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
