Accounts Receivable Clerk at Destination GN
Destination Geneva National, Lake Geneva's premier golf resort & club , is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our exceptional Accounting team. The A/R Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring accurate billing, reconciliation, and collection processes while providing exceptional service to members, event clients, and internal departments.
Job Description The Accounts Receivable Clerk handles reconciling, billing, and collections for contracted events across multiple properties, as well as monthly membership billing and related customer service functions. This position maintains and updates event and member information across multiple systems, including Delphi, EZ Suites, Visual 1, Agilysys Versa, Agilysys Membership, Agilysys IG, Agilysys Golf, and Excel.
Essential Functions
Manage a portfolio of business and membership accounts for multiple resort properties.
Process event, membership, and lodging billings; apply cash and credit card payments.
Reconcile accounts between various systems and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Calculate and process adjustments, credits, and usage-based charges.
Review event contracts to determine billing amounts and timing of collections.
Communicate professionally with clients and members regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries.
Support the Sales, Banquet, and Membership teams with billing, reconciliation, and reporting.
Process credit applications and provide back-up support for sales/use tax reporting and sales commissions.
Collaborate with internal departments to confirm charges, adjustments, and billing preferences.
Maintain accurate and organized digital and paper records.
Assist with incoming/outgoing mail and general accounting tasks as needed.
Education And Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
1–3 years of related experience in accounts receivable, hospitality accounting, or event billing required.
Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Delphi, Visual 1, or Agilysys platforms is a plus.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
