Job Description
The Environmental, Health & Safety Professional is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, driving continuous improvement, and supporting a strong safety culture within a manufacturing environment. This role supports prevention-focused programs, delivers training to employees at all levels, and participates in incident investigations and regulatory compliance efforts.

Full-time (shift hours may vary)
Pay
$67,000 - $81,000 annually
Job Duties
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, food safety, and GMP regulations and policies
Facilitate safety training programs and skills development for employees and contractors
Interpret and enforce compliance with local, state, and federal EHS laws and requirements
Assist with industrial hygiene monitoring and environmental compliance activities
Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; support corrective actions and follow-up
Participate in site safety committees and improvement initiatives
Review new equipment and process changes for EHS impact and compliance
Lead or assist with incident investigations, reporting, and root cause analysis
Conduct new hire orientations and provide ongoing toolbox talks and monthly safety trainings
Maintain required EHS records, logs, and documentation
Attend daily site meetings to communicate safety updates and provide guidance
Support continuous improvement of EHS programs, policies, and procedures
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
1–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable safety and environmental regulations
Strong communication and public speaking abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment
