Program Manager, Prime Air
How do you get items to customers quickly, cost‑effectively, and—most importantly—safely in less than an hour? Our teams of scientists, engineers, aerospace professionals, and futurists are working hard to deliver packages through autonomous drone technology. Prime Air delivers packages in 30 minutes or less and is expanding across multiple locations. We need an experienced Program Manager to develop and execute the strategic operational framework that supports this rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
Remove barriers to success through collaborative problem‑solving and innovative thinking.
Drive critical decisions in ambiguous environments while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
Develop and execute program level mechanisms to succinctly define program status, risks, and solutions to senior leadership.
Lead cross‑functional initiatives requiring coordination across engineering, operations, and regulatory teams.
Drive projects across the finish line, ensure successful new site openings, and turnover to operations.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience.
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any domain).
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of driving process improvements experience.
3+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems experience.
Export Control This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

Compensation Range The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100 per year in our lowest geographic market to $185,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon may provide equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
