Job Summary The Field Operations Manager is a hands‑on role that blends fieldwork with operational leadership. You’ll operate equipment, oversee projects, manage schedules and technicians, communicate with clients, and ensure the business runs smoothly and profitably.
Responsibilities On‑Site Work & Project Execution
Operate line striping, sealcoating, and other pavement equipment
Lead on‑site crews to complete projects to high standards
Perform quality control checks and final walkthroughs
Communicate professionally with clients during projects
Crew & Schedule Management
Coordinate job schedules with sales and production teams
Supervise and train pavement maintenance technicians
Submit timesheets and manage crew productivity
Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding field staff
Operations & Equipment
Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and supplies
Track job costs and ensure work stays within budget
Schedule and oversee maintenance of trucks and equipment
Enforce safety standards and EverLine operating procedures
Administrative Support
Complete daily job reports with photos and notes
Track job progress and identify projects ready for invoicing
Support estimating or sales tasks during slow periods
Qualifications
2+ years of field leadership or operations experience (construction, landscaping, asphalt, etc.)
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with small engines/tools
Experience leading a crew or managing job sites independently
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Schedule
Full‑time, primarily Monday–Friday
Nights and some weekend/evening flexibility required
