Overview As an Experienced Software Engineer within the Global Technology team, you will be an agile team member designing and delivering trusted, market‑leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable environment. Depending on the team, you may develop mobile features for enhanced banking control, strategize big‑data solutions to accelerate trading systems, innovate payments for merchants, or support integration of private and public cloud platforms.
Job Responsibilities
Participate in the design and development of scalable and resilient systems using Java to deliver continual, iterative improvements for product teams.
Execute software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
Create secure, high‑quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
Produce or contribute to architecture and design artifacts for applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
Identify hidden problems and patterns in data, using these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
Add to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Hands‑on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficient in Java programming.
Experience debugging and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages.
Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within disciplines such as cloud, AI, machine learning, and mobile.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Familiarity with modern front‑end technologies.
Exposure to cloud technologies.
Skills : Java, Spring, AWS.
Experience Level Expert Level
Job Type & Location This is a contract-to-hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay And Benefits Pay range: $45.00 - $75.00 per hour.
