Job Purpose Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities
Proficient in the set-up and operation of automated SMT assembly equipment including Screen Printer, Pick and Place Machine (Fuji AIMEXII preferred), and Reflow Oven.
Ability to interpret IPC‑610 standards for acceptability and customer specifications.
Ability to read prints and interpret color codes on wires and components.
Education and Experience
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience with SMT.
Strong knowledge of Surface‑Mount Technology (SMT) electronic components and SMT assembly process.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Salary and Benefits Salary Range (annual): $39,686 – $43,680 ($19.08 – $21 / hour). The total rewards package includes health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company‑paid holidays and paid time off, and may include restricted stock units and discretionary bonus.
