Pay Range: 80,000 to 115,000 annually (based on experience)

Position Summary
Our client has partnered with us in search of an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to support design, programming, and troubleshooting of complex control systems used in manufacturing and test environments. This role involves hands‑on design and implementation of electrical systems, AutoCAD drafting, and PLC/HMI programming. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical ability, practical problem‑solving skills, and a team‑focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement electrical control systems utilizing relay and ladder logic, discrete PID controllers, PLC/HMI interfaces, and communication links
Create electrical designs and detailed AutoCAD drawings including junction boxes, wiring diagrams, local operator panels, and main power panels
Ensure compliance with NEC and IEC standards and symbols
Integrate hydraulic and pneumatic systems into electrical control designs
Provide troubleshooting and debug support for electrical systems and control logic
Develop project cost estimates, timelines, and bills of material to support manufacturing
Provide occasional field service support (5 to 20 percent travel, including possible international)
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support development and testing
Participate in review of system performance and recommend improvements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred (or equivalent technical experience)
Five to seven years of experience designing and implementing industrial control systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
Knowledge of PLC/HMI programming (Allen Bradley experience strongly preferred)
Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic system integration
Experience in chemical or plastics process environments required
Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and system analysis skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
