How You’ll Make an Impact
Design, execute and deliver technical solutions for Rebo’s injection molded products including interior, exterior, specialty lenses and components for automotive applications.
Provide engineering and development support for new product launches and development projects pertaining to injection molded components.
Be the key technical contact for injection molding process troubleshooting.
Develop EOAT and automation systems for part removal and sorting.
Develop and maintain Injection Control Conditions, Robot Programs, Part Inspection documents, work instructions, and checklists.
Develop and maintain FMEA, process diagram, and associated documentation for Injection Molded products.
Implementation of standards, standard time, capacity calculation.
Train and develop technicians in best practices of injection molding processing and mold setup.
Support customer presentations and discussions and present technical content of quotations or development results.
Consult with the design when implementing technical requirements and agree on technical solutions. Identify and track internal or external changes.
Support Injection machine repair and maintenance processes and activities.
Support external vendors of outsourced molds (initial trials and troubleshooting).
Your Key Attributes
Bachelor’s degree focused in Plastics or Polymer Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).
You are knowledgeable in the following areas:
Injection molding process and control conditions development.
Robotics (End‑of‑arm‑tooling) development and programming.
Hot runner and valve gate systems.
2k and 3k experience (automotive lens/lighting industry preferred).
Process optimization through PDCA, DMAIC, and Kaizen.
Cycle time, scrap, purge, mold change time reduction activities.
Injection mold tool and part design.
You are able to perform data analysis and result interpretation.
Travel as needed.
Strong accountability and demonstrate integrity by delivering what is promised.
