Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices combines state‑of‑the‑art service, repair, and tire sales in a network of over 2,000 retail locations across the United States. Mavis is looking for full‑time Automotive Mechanics to join our Dedham, MA service center team.
About the Position As a leader in undercar repair, your primary duties will include inspecting, diagnosing, and performing a wide variety of automotive services on customers’ vehicles. Responsibilities include brakes, struts, and shocks, as well as completing state‑mandated inspections, changing oil and filters, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.

Qualifications
Minimum age 18 years.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
At least 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or equivalent education and experience.
Extensive personal tool set for undercar repairs.
State inspection license(s) (preferred).
ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) (preferred).
Physical Requirements Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and routinely perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle maintenance. Must be able to lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
