The Subsystems Development team has an immediate need for Electrical System designers seeking challenging work. Candidates will participate in requirement development (e.g. procurement specifications) and Source Control Documents (SCD) for aircraft electrical systems on Military Aircraft. The candidate will work on designing electrical schematics and wire harnesses to system requirements.
Position Responsibilities
Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
Limited travel will be required, 10% or less.
Position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
5+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 3+ years of work related engineering experience with a Master’s or work related engineering experience with a PhD.

Security: Requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
