Travel MRI Technologist
Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13‑week contract assignment at a partnering hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin. The role involves operating advanced MRI systems to provide high‑quality diagnostic scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment and documentation in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans.
Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues.
Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registration.
Phillips MRI Systems experience.
Current state license (if applicable).
BLS certification.
Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center.
Contract Details Pay: $2,300 – $2,466 per week* (8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week). 13‑week contract with possibility to extend.
