Responsibilities
We have a new opening for RN Supervisors for both Huntington and Barboursville locations. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for ensuring quality nursing care to assigned groups of patients/residents through utilization of the nursing process, established standards of care, and relevant policies and procedures. Scope of responsibilities includes the immediate supervision and coaching/mentoring of assisting personnel in the performance of delegated direct/indirect nursing care activities and unit maintenance tasks. Demonstrates behaviors reflective of the mission and core values of River Park Hospital and those expected of all nurses functioning at a competent level of practice in this professional role. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Position Requirements:
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in West Virginia. CPR Preferred (offered on‑site). Handle With Care Preferred (offered on‑site).
Education/Experience:
Background and/or training in working with the patient population of the unit assignment is required either prior to employment or during an initial employment period.
General Requirements:
Must have patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm. Good communication skills; able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Basic clerical skills and experience with office equipment (telephone, copy machine, fax, etc.). Experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Ability to problem‑solve and accept feedback when circumstances warrant such actions. Willingness to interact with patients with varying levels of cognitive functioning.
