Job Details We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Inventory Accounting Manager to join our fast‑paced manufacturing company. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing our inventory accounting processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the entire inventory accounting process, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
Prepare and present monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
Perform ledger and bank reconciliations, maintaining accurate records for all transactions.
Lead cost accounting activities, including variance analysis, margin analysis, and cost trend forecasting.
Manage and optimize supply‑chain processes to ensure efficient inventory management.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and achieve company objectives.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, providing insights to support strategic decision‑making.
Implement and maintain ERP systems, particularly Oracle Fusion, to enhance inventory accounting processes.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing accounting with a focus on inventory accounting.
Proven experience managing supply‑chain processes and handling large volumes of inventory.
Proficiency in ERP systems, especially Oracle and Oracle Fusion.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial reporting.
Exceptional skills in ledger and bank reconciliations.
A CPA qualification is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
High levels of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
