Requirements:

The position is hourly and bilingual is a plus.

The BCBA holds a master’s degree with certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is in good standing with the BACB.

The behavior analyst will work a number of hours reasonably necessary to provide the highest quality of service for their clients and those they supervise.

Responsibilities:

Reflect and promote the values and missions of Great Heights when carrying out all workplace and community-based responsibilities.

Complete skill assessments, develop treatment care plans, develop and implement client programming, and develop and train on behavior intervention plans; as well as train and supervise RBTs as needed for client skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and performance improvement.

Develop treatment care plans – generate quality treatment care plans through the use of research and approved assessments. Assessment and treatment care plan development will include but not be limited to the following:

Conduct social validity interviews with caregivers.

Apply a variety of approved assessments including but not limited to: VB-Mapp, AFLS, EFL, Social Skills Solutions, PEAK.

Complete approved treatment care plan template developed by us.

Include client and caregivers in development of goals and objectives.

Ensure caregiver approval of treatment care plan through signature after review meeting.

Implement, monitor, and train on interventions identified in the treatment care plan, including but not limited to:

Oversee the development and delivery of materials for interventions and programs as needed.

Provide Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) team members and caregivers training on interventions utilizing behavior support training (BST) or other training methodologies as appropriate.

Complete weekly consults with RBT team members and provide written feedback.

Complete monthly progress reporting and meetings with caregivers.

Collaborate with other providers and give client support in all appropriate locations.

Attend and participate in Peer Review Committee meetings.

Provide RBT mentorship and supervision, as appropriate to certification requirements.

Promote an ethical culture which upholds the values, policies and procedures of Great Heights.

Maintain BCBA certification through continuing education and abiding by the BACB’s ethical code of conduct.

Attend all Great Heights meetings and trainings such as: CPR certification, HIPAA yearly training, Professional Crisis Management and staff meetings.

Physical Requirements:

All employees must complete Professional Crisis Management (PCM) training.

PCM Association requires at least average physical fitness, including:

Ability to demonstrate physical procedures numerous times with a variety of individuals.

Supporting and lowering children and adults of varying sizes to the ground.

Good mobility and/or range of motion.

Absence of recent fractures or surgeries and no recent joint injuries requiring medical attention in the past 6 months.
