About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing electrical systems for large industrial projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Design medium voltage incoming tie‑in through low voltage distribution throughout facilities, heavy‑load feeders, and large‑facility electrical layouts.
Specify and design electrical and controls systems for industrial blasting and coating facilities.
Produce schematics, panel layouts, and detailed electrical documentation in AutoCAD.
Prepare scopes of work for external engineering subconsultants and manage budget, schedule, and scope.
Ensure all designs meet NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and other compliance requirements.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and SMEs to integrate electrical systems into overall facility design.
Support procurement and vendors to ensure components meet standards and specifications.
Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at project sites.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Required Skills
5+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial or large‑facility projects.
Strong background in heavy power design (main feeders, distribution systems, grounding systems, and high‑load equipment).
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore a plus.
Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and related codes.
Experience using EasyPower, ETAP, SKM, PSS, or other modeling software preferred.
Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Procore.
Experience using EasyPower, ETAP, SKM, PSS, or other modeling software.
