We are seeking a
Construction Superintendent
to lead the on‑site execution of multifamily projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Position Overview The Construction Superintendent is responsible for all day‑to‑day field operations on assigned projects. This includes managing subcontractors, enforcing safety and quality standards, maintaining the project schedule and coordinating closely with the project management team. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong communication skills, a deep understanding of multifamily construction and a proven ability to deliver complex projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all on‑site construction activities from groundbreaking through project turnover
Manage and coordinate subcontractors, field staff and suppliers to ensure work meets project specifications and schedule
Maintain and update the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager
Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations; ensure a safe working environment at all times
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to verify workmanship and compliance with plans and specifications
Participate in project meetings including daily huddles, weekly coordination meetings and progress updates with ownership
Review and interpret plans, specifications and shop drawings; identify and resolve field conflicts proactively
Coordinate with city inspectors, consultants and other third‑party representatives
Track daily progress, maintain accurate site documentation and submit daily reports
Support project closeout by ensuring punch list completion, as‑built documentation and turnover coordination
