The Title Specialist is directly responsible for securing all necessary documents to accompany applications to transfer vehicle title ownership. Responsibilities include compiling required documents, communicating with customers and vehicle owners, resolving problems and discrepancies, managing inbound calls and emails, and providing excellent customer service. Compliance with state and/or buyer requirements is essential. Responsibilities
Review and process documentation for insurance and remarketing customers. Process incoming salvage titles from multiple states and prepare them for sale. Maintain current knowledge of title and salvage laws across multiple states. Provide timely and accurate customer support via mail, email, telephone, and personal contact. Enter title information into the IAA operating system. Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and requests. Resolve issues related to title ownership transfer. Perform clerical duties such as filing and word processing. Follow established procedures under close supervisor direction. Assist with other office functions as needed. Report violations of company policy and protect confidential customer information. Qualifications
1–2 years of state/national title processing experience preferred. 2–3 years of knowledge in title and salvage title requirements preferred. Experience maintaining customer databases. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work in a typical field office environment. Seniority Level
