Required License / Registration / Certification :

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Valid Kentucky State License Registration (obtained before start date)

Physical Requirements : Requires heavy lifting, pushing, pulling of objects over 50 pounds.

Shift : Monday – Friday, Day Shift; some evening hours or weekends may be required in support of patient care. This position has on‑call duties.

Job Summary The Radiation Oncology Clinic is seeking a Radiation Therapist to provide radiation treatment delivery. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for daily care of cancer patients, including accurate interpretation and delivery of radiation treatments, performing simulations, providing clinical instruction for radiation therapy students, and covering brachy procedures and treatment scheduling when required.

Responsibilities

Provide daily care and treatment of cancer patients using radiation therapy techniques.

Accurately interpret and deliver radiation treatments.

Perform patient simulations and treatment planning.

Offer clinical instruction to radiation therapy students.

Cover brachytherapy procedures and schedule treatment sessions as needed.

Skills & Abilities

Team player with strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

2–6 years of radiation therapy experience.
