About TheraCare TheraCare has provided high-quality Early Intervention services throughout New York City for over 30 years. Our mission is to support children from birth to age 3 with communication delays and developmental needs through compassionate, evidence-based care. We are seeking Speech Language Pathologists to deliver therapy in home and community-based settings.
Position Overview As an SLP with TheraCare, you will provide direct services to infants and toddlers in their natural environments. You’ll assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language delays, create individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with families to support carryover and communication development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide speech-language therapy to children ages 0–3
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IFSP goals
Educate and coach families to support generalization and developmental growth
Document all sessions and progress according to NYC EI guidelines
Participate in interdisciplinary team collaboration
Maintain timely and accurate clinical records and reports

Qualifications
Current NYS Speech-Language Pathologist license
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY status with supervision available
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
At least one year of experience working with pediatrics
Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to travel to clients’ homes throughout the assigned borough
Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, smart phone, computer)
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Ability to travel to various locations on a near daily basis
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Rates are determined based on a combination of factors such as experience level, assignment location, service setting, and applicable program guidelines.
