Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for pediatric-focused imaging using GE and Siemens 1.5T / 3T equipment.
Responsibilities
Work in an MRI department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
Role focuses almost exclusively on pediatric and neonatal scanning, with occasional adult, stroke, and trauma patients
Day shift schedule : Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM
No call required
Utilizes GE and Siemens MRI systems (1.5T and 3T)
Requires experience with EPIC EMR, minimum 1 year
Floating to other qualified units or campuses may be required based on census needs
Primary duties include performing MRI studies for pediatric, neonatal, trauma, and stroke patients
Will work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary imaging team
Orientation is provided every Monday
Pre-assignment modules must be completed prior to start; module hours up to 16 are reimbursed
Two professional references required for consideration
Scrub or dress code details will be provided during onboarding
Requirements
Current ARRT certification required (ARMRIT is not accepted)
Strong MRI experience with demonstrated competency in pediatric imaging
Previous Children’s Hospital experience preferred
Experience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment required
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in MRI preferred
Ability to scan patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, and adults
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility for eligibility; full travel benefits at 100+ miles distance
Proficiency with EPIC EMR required (minimum 1 year experience)
License required if applicable
