About Balance Point Wellness Balance Point Wellness is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Healthcare (ACHC). We are a community‑based holistic mental health and wellness center that provides counseling/psychotherapy, psychiatry, adventure therapy, and wellness services to individuals and families in Maryland. We are located in Baltimore, Nottingham, Bel Air, Salisbury, and Hunt Valley, MD. We also have Telehealth divisions in Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, and a school‑based program in Baltimore County and Harford County Schools. Job Overview We are seeking qualified licensed therapists (LMSW, LCSW‑C, LGPC, LCPC, LCMFT, Psychologist, etc.) to provide mental health therapy to children and adolescents in our Maryland Telehealth division. Positions are available as W2 salaried, W2 fee‑for‑service, or 1099 with no cap on earnings for service or 1099 roles.
Therapist Job Responsibilities
Manage assigned caseload (Provide ongoing therapy)
Complete psychosocial assessments
Complete contact notes for completed sessions – all documentation is completed in a cloud‑based EHR
Development of person‑centered treatment plans when necessary
Monthly volume of service
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
Master’s/doctorate in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling required
Licensed in Maryland to provide mental health treatment
Psychotherapy experience in a community setting preferred
Background check required
Highly organized and possesses strong time‑management skills
