Diverse Caseload (Urgent + Primary):
You’ll handle everything from vaccines and puppy checks to stabilizing minor emergencies. One day it’s routine dental cleaning; the next you’re assisting in surgery on a swallowed sock.
No Overnights or On‑Call – Ever:
We’re open 8 am‑8 pm, 7 days a week, but we don’t do overnights. Enjoy predictable 4‑day work weeks and evenings free for dinner, recharge, and a life outside work.

Day in the Life (Job Duties)
Partner with our Veterinarians:
Deliver top‑notch care—prep patients for surgery, monitor anesthesia, perform treatments, and run diagnostics.
Provide Compassionate Client Care:
Educate and reassure pet parents during stressful moments.
Perform Lab & Technical Skills:
Collect blood, run lab tests, place IV catheters, take radiographs (including dental x‑rays), administer medications and vaccines, and assist in suturing and wound care.
Maintain Organized Workflow:
Keep accurate digital medical records (AI scribe), restock supplies, and sterilize equipment.
Be a Culture Champion:
Communicate openly, adopt a can‑do attitude, support colleagues, and mentor assistants.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
Credentialed Vet Tech in Colorado:
Certified/Registered/Licensed Veterinary Technician with a current Colorado license (or eligibility).
Experience:
At least 1 year of clinical vet tech experience. Emergency/urgent care experience is a plus.
Team Player Attitude:
Thrive in a team setting, communicate well, and jump in wherever needed.
Efficient & Proactive:
Improve processes, stay organized, and juggle multiple tasks while paying attention to detail.
Compassion & Passion:
Gentle with pets, respectful with clients, driven to help animals and grow professionally.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Pay:
$26–$29/hour, plus 1.5× pay on Sploot‑recognized holidays.
