F&F is recruiting for a Senior Property Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and financial performance of multiple residential properties in our south county portfolio, ensuring high standards of maintenance, tenant satisfaction, and leasing efficiency. This role leads on‑site teams, manages leasing performance, tenant retention, ensures compliance with fair housing laws, and collaborates with maintenance, sales & marketing, and accounting to drive operational success. This position requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and expertise in property management software (AppFolio preferred) to ensure efficient property operations, tenant retention, and asset optimization. Responsibilities
Lead centralized property management operations from the La Jolla office, overseeing a large portfolio of multifamily properties Direct and support a team made up of leasing agents, administrative support and a day porter, to achieve occupancy, service, and compliance goals Monitor leasing activity, financial performance, and maintenance standards across all properties Ensure adherence to Fair Housing, ADA, and company policies in all leasing and resident interactions Partner with senior leadership to resolve complex resident, operational, and personnel matters while promoting accountability and results Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience managing multifamily property operations or a large portfolio Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and support a high‑performing team Exceptional professionalism, communication, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work effectively in a fast‑moving, high‑pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities with sound judgment and discretion Working knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, and California property management regulations Proficiency with property management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication tools Benefits
