Java Solution Architect – CVS Health and Pharmacy System Experience
Location: Deerfield, IL (Onsite)
We are seeking an experienced Java Solution Architect with a background in CVS Health and CVS pharmacy systems. The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of experience in full‑stack solution design and delivery, focusing on Java, Angular, and Azure cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement full stack solutions using Java, Angular, and Azure.
Architect robust, scalable, and secure applications with hands‑on coding responsibilities.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and execute solution strategies.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
Manage Azure DevOps (ADO) code repositories, build/release pipelines, and work item tracking.
Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
15+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.
Strong experience with Java backend development.
Proficiency in Angular for building modern user interfaces.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
Hands‑on knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO).
Proven experience designing and coding enterprise‑grade applications.
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience architecting large‑scale distributed systems.
Prior experience working in Agile teams and using ADO Boards.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
