Job Description AECOM Technical Services, Inc., is seeking a Civil Engineer in Milwaukee, WI.

Job Responsibilities

Perform detailed design and document preparation for roadway infrastructure improvements, including geometric design, pavement design, and traffic analysis.

Ensure adherence to project specifications, regulatory standards, and safety requirements.

Develop and calculate quantities for transportation improvements with accuracy and precision, following industry standards and best practices.

Design and develop roadway alignments, roundabouts, intersections, roadside features, and utility coordination plans.

Ensure designs meet safety, environmental, and functional requirements.

Prepare and review technical reports, including design study reports and pavement design reports.

Verify accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project specifications and regulations.

Coordinate projects to ensure tasks are completed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Provide guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.

Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well‑defined procedures.

Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations.

Propose approaches to solve new problems using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.

Telecommuting: Permitted up to 3 days per week.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and 3 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, Highway Engineer, or related occupation.

Alternatively, Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and 1 year of experience.

Position requires experience in the following

AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and AutoTURN Pro

Geometric design, pavement design, and traffic analysis

Preparing design and technical reports on traffic analysis

Infrastructure project management, coordination, and reporting

Tender and construction package preparation

QA/QC procedures and NOC management

Horizontal and vertical roadway alignment design

Road grading and site development

Quantity calculation and estimation on infrastructure projects

Signage design under DOT requirements

$83,574

to

$137,824 .
