About the Opportunity We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Stuart, FL. In this role, you will develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure production of high‑quality aerospace components. This position requires a strong understanding of precision machining, aerospace industry standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Location Stuart, FL – On‑site. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to meet production goals, quality standards, and cost targets.
Create and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and other machining operations.
Develop tooling and fixture designs to enhance machining efficiency and precision.
Provide hands‑on support to machinists and operators for troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
Collaborate with other MFG Engineers to ensure manufacturability and adherence to specifications.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality or process‑related issues.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Utilize lean manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies to drive efficiency and process control.
Prepare and maintain detailed manufacturing work instructions, routings, and process documentation.
Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, including AS9100 and NADCAP.
Participate in audits and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Manage manufacturing projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, including production, quality, and procurement, to achieve project goals.
Evaluate and recommend new tooling, equipment, and technologies to improve machining capabilities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or aerospace machining environment.
Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in CNC machining, programming, and setup.
Knowledge of GD&T and aerospace standards.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software—preferably Siemens NX.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
Excellent communication skills and project management skills.
Working Conditions
Regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Frequently required to talk or hear.
Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision and color vision.
