Estimator – Electrical Estimator – Construction Estimator Wells Global is looking to hire an
Estimator – Electrical Estimator – Construction Estimator
who is organized with a focus on quality and accuracy. Wells Global is a power systems integrator specializing in design and construction of critical power systems for the federal government with project sites located across the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories.
Responsibilities
Develops accurate total project cost estimates.
Performs material take-offs from construction drawings and scope of work.
Solicits material and subcontractor pricing requests. Analyzes material and subcontractor pricing for scope coverage and correctness.
Evaluates labor risk factors including weather, labor availability, installation difficulty, and scheduling.
Identifies clarifications and any items of risk discovered during take-off and document review that may be pertinent to the scope and clarification portion of the proposal.
Prepare proposal documents.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or like field .
5 years of estimating experience. Electrical estimating experience .
Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Accubid .
Ability to pass a federal background check.
Ability for limited travel.
Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptable, self-starter who is customer-focused and encourages teamwork.
Interpret and understand project requirements.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
