Job Description WHY YOU WANT THIS OPPORTUNITY If you are a Lead Project Superintendent who thrives in technically demanding, operational environments, this is a chance to take ownership of highly specialized infrastructure projects. You'll oversee field execution of wastewater treatment retrofit and upgrade projects, often in live facilities, where coordination, planning, and safety are critical. This is not ground‑up new construction; it's complex work that requires a skilled builder who understands sequencing, temporary systems, and collaborative execution with facility personnel and engineers.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
Field management experience with at least 3 years as a Lead Superintendent on water or wastewater treatment plant projects
Expertise in leading retrofit and upgrade scopes in operating or partially shut‑down environments
Strong technical understanding of structural, mechanical, civil, and process systems related to treatment plant work
Skilled at field‑level coordination with mechanical, electrical, and specialty trades during active system cutovers and tie‑ins
Able to interpret plans, redline field adjustments, manage inspections, and work closely with engineering and project management
Safety‑driven and confident in enforcing jobsite protocols while maintaining productivity
Comfortable managing site logistics, documentation, scheduling, and quality control at the field level
YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Leading the daily field operations of complex wastewater treatment plant projects from mobilization through turnover
Managing subcontractor crews across disciplines, directing sequencing and productivity
Coordinating shutdowns, tie‑ins, and temporary systems with engineers and facility operators
Upholding safety, cleanliness, and compliance with environmental regulations at all times
Monitoring quality, reviewing submittals and shop drawings in the field, and implementing changes as needed
Communicating progress and needs clearly to internal teams and owners
Supporting project closeout, punch list completion, and final documentation
