Responsibilities
Develop design studies, prepare engineering calculations and analysis, attend project meetings, perform walkdowns, and mentor junior employees.
Create impactful engineering deliverables: produce precise and error‑free drawings, calculations, and analyses that exceed industry codes, standards, and client expectations.
Set the standard: develop engineering documents that meet but surpass client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
Stay on the cutting edge: continuously enhance expertise in industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques.
Drive quality & precision: deliver exceptional engineering solutions aligned with rigorous quality assurance programs.
Cultivate strong client connections: build trust and lasting relationships through clear communication and professional engagement.
Collaborate for success: partner seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated designs that meet diverse project requirements.
Be active in the field: perform detailed plant walkdowns and ensure all structures, systems, and components meet the highest engineering standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Electrical, Mechanical or similar Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum three (3) years of experience designing electrical systems.
Experience in engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (including chemical or pulp & paper), energy, or DOE government projects (highly preferred).
Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Some roles require employees to be U.S. citizens; only those who can confirm U.S. citizenship will be considered.
Senior Engineers typically have seven (7) years of post‑graduate experience; Principal Engineers typically have ten (10) years.
