Salary: Up to $20/hr
Schedule: Part-Time | Monday - Friday
Overview Seeking an outstanding Facilities Maintenance Specialist (Part-Time) to join our team in Upper Marlboro, MD.
Advanced Recovery Systems (ARS) is an integrated behavioral healthcare management company dedicated to addressing the unique behavioral health challenges faced by this exceptional population. With facilities across various regions of the U.S., we provide compassionate care and support to those struggling with PTSD and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities
Complete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance requests within the designated timeframe to ensure conservation of facility assets, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and landscaping.
Review and promptly respond to reports and recommendations from planning, regulating, and inspecting agencies.
Provide for facility compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Ensure that all building systems are in good working order and that all life safety systems are maintained in accordance with applicable regulations.
Facilitate fire drills.
Work with contractors and vendors as needed to accomplish repairs.
Be available for on-call work when needed.
Participate in training and development to enhance own professional skills and growth.
Attend in-service training and participate in other educational activities as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Facility Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prefer 2 years of professional experience and training in repair contracting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, facility cleaning, and related areas.
Proficiency in maintaining a high level of awareness throughout the facility to address and report matters timely.
Demonstrated ability to respond to emergent situations and exercise good judgment in addressing and reporting them.
Team player who can successfully interact with a diverse group of employees, clients, and management.
