Finance Manager / Controller

to lead financial operations, manage accounting systems, and provide leadership across budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.

The Role This position will oversee all day-to-day accounting and finance activities — from managing cash flow and reporting to implementing systems that keep the company running efficiently. You’ll serve as both a strategic partner to leadership and a tactical operator ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and growth readiness.

A key focus will be managing the day-to-day accounting for a motorcycle dealership’s brick and mortar location, handling point of sale accounting & reporting, building dashboards and financial metrics to track retail performance in real time, managing lines of credit, and factoring of vehicle inventories. This role will also require accurately managing all parts and products inventory, supplier accounts receivables and payables, servicing cost of goods and revenues, and warranty work tracking and claims.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting including A/P, A/R, payroll, and reconciliations

Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Implement and manage financial controls and reporting systems

Handle tax filings, permits, and compliance with state and federal regulations

Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and vendors

Support leadership with financial modeling, scenario planning, and investment analysis

Create streamlined processes for multiple business units (events, retail, production, etc.)

Assist in strategic decision-making and financial forecasting for growth initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required)

3–7 years of accounting or finance experience, ideally in small business or multi-entity environments

Strong understanding of GAAP, cash flow management, and financial analysis

Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or comparable accounting software

Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative, and evolving environment

Excellent communication and analytical skills

Powersports, motorsports or automotive dealership experience preferred

Additional Relevant Experience

Experience in event production, retail, or hospitality sectors

Comfort managing multiple entities or revenue streams

A passion for motorcycles, art, or culture-driven ventures
