Senior Financial Analyst, Global Business Finance, NACI Cloud Data Platform Sales
Location - Reston, VA (remote) or US Nationwide (remote)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As a member of the Global Business Finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial analysis, insights and support to the Financial Services Industry within the North America Cloud Infrastructure Sales Organization. The individual will interface with Sales, Operations, Compensation & other Global Business Finance Groups on a regular basis.
We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical individual with strong communication skills to help the organization meet its strategic and financial objectives. Responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling and ad-hoc analysis.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide financial guidance and Business Partner expertise to the Sales Leadership team to identify risk and ways to improve performance.
Build annual budget model, ensuring alignment with business strategy
Perform forecasting and analysis, with financial and operational metrics to provide data-driven insights and analytics
Team with Sales Leadership, Cloud Engineers, Operations to model and forecast Cloud Consumption.
Communicate timely and effectively with the cross-functional leadership to resolve issues and improve efficiencies.
Run ad-hoc scenario analysis to assess potential impacts, identifying key drivers and risks/opportunities
Assist Senior Finance Manager with presentation material for Senior Management meetings
Attain subject matter expertise in all finance-related functions, ensuring ability to effectively respond to requests with minimal guidance
Acquire and maintain high-level knowledge across all business areas by staying current on initiatives, challenges, and opportunities across the business
Run quarterly close forecasting process with minimal guidance
Prepare quarterly results and provide commentary and variance explanations
Lead collaboration across the business support functions to streamline processes, improve operational efficiencies, and drive timely submissions
Leverage analytic technology and key data sources to enhance financial analysis
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 5-8 years finance experience BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in financial modeling Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple challenging priorities Innovative problem solving and effective decision-making skills Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with business partners and stakeholders to accomplish team goals Experience with process improvement, standardization, and automation, with a focus on driving efficiency and accuracy. Strong knowledge/experience of Finance functions within the technology industry preferred Knowledge of financial software and tools, including Business Intelligence, a plus
