Associate Attorney - Construction Law - Boca Raton
Looking for a Florida‑licensed attorney with 6+ years of experience in construction matters—both litigation and transactional—who can serve homeowners before, during, and after custom home builds and major renovation projects.
Our firm is Florida’s Premier Residential Construction Law Firm for homeowners. We provide advice, guidance, and contract drafting services before projects, act as Renovation Concierges during projects, and offer fixed‑pre‑litigation and litigation services when projects go sideways in terms of time, money, and quality of work. We also represent a select group of contractors with their contracts, collections, and lien issues.
We have experienced significant aggressive growth over the past year and are seeking a client‑service‑oriented, full‑time associate attorney to join our team as our fourth attorney.
Responsibilities
Communicate empathetically with non‑institutional clients in need of valuable, real‑life guidance with issues of great importance to them
Resolve the clients’ issues as promptly and efficiently as possible
Negotiate with opposing parties or their attorneys to resolve ongoing construction disputes
Support the firm’s litigation practice through discovery, depositions, mediation, etc.
Draft, revise, and advise on construction contracts to owners, contractors, and subcontractors
Guide homeowners through issues common to major renovation projects, including payments, timing, and quality of work
Qualifications
Licensed in Florida with 6+ years of construction litigation experience and some transactional experience
Focus on efficient dispute resolution in the best interests of the client
Empathetic yet able to have tough conversations with clients
Strong negotiation skills
Tech‑savvy with familiarity in AI tools
Pristine attention to detail and accuracy while handling increasing volume
Desire to be part of a purpose‑driven team
Ability to generate clients within the firm’s niche will be rewarded
Compensation $125,000 - $180,000+ yearly, including incentives
