About the Role You’ll design and scale backend systems that keep thousands of concurrent AI agents communicating with minimal latency. You’ll help us auto-scale AI workloads, harden our infrastructure, and tackle high-throughput, low-latency challenges.

Responsibilities
Architect fault-tolerant, multi-region backend systems
Write Go to automate operational workflows and scale services
Improve system latency, uptime, and observability
Collaborate with product and platform teams on system design and reliability
Lead post-mortems, resilience improvements, and incident response processes
Build tools and infrastructure that empower the entire engineering org
Must-Haves
410 years of software engineering experience
23+ years hands-on Go experience
Experience scaling backend systems from scratch (6070% backend, 3040% frontend)
Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and database design
Strong Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure experience
Startup-ready mindset : hard work, independence, ownership
Passion for AI-driven technologies and infrastructure
Clear articulation of individual contributions (not just team outcomes)
Willingness to work long hours (up to 70-hour weeks when needed)
We're only advancing candidates who meet most of the following:
410 years of backend-focused engineering experience
23+ years working in Go
Hands-on experience building and scaling backend systems from scratch
Strong grasp of Kubernetes and distributed infrastructure
Frontend experience in React and TypeScript (bonus)
Experience at top-tier tech companies or fast-scaling startups
Strong CS fundamentals (preferably from a top academic program)
Passion for AI systems and deployment
Ability to clearly articulate technical ownership and systems design decisions
Cultural alignment : high agency, low ego, work ethic
