Purpose The Senior Configurator is a key member of the Delivery Practice. As an Oracle Senior Configurator, you will be a subject matter expert and work along with System Implementors in designing and implementing comprehensive Oracle Cloud Platform Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS), Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS), and Financial Close Cloud Service (FCCS) solutions for Floor & Decor. Leveraging your deep understanding of the EPBCS technology stack—including Smart View, PL/SQL, BIP, FDMEE (Financial Data Quality Management), Data Management, and OTBI—and its integration to ARCS & FCCS, you will provide guidance and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle and post go‑live support. Your primary focus will be to partner with business FP&A to translate requirements into scalable, efficient, and sustainable solutions.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or Business Management (or appropriate experience equivalent to one academic year).
Provide functional and technical leadership to project teams and guide them in the implementation of Oracle EPBCS, FCCS & ARCS.
Mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Stay abreast of industry trends and Oracle roadmap updates.
Hands‑on experience configuring Planning modules for Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow in Oracle Cloud and Capital Expense Planning.
Collaborate with SI & business to automate and streamline account reconciliation by integrating ARCS with EPBCS and FCCS.
Hands‑on experience leveraging FCCS to automate and streamline the financial close and consolidation process in compliance with IFRS or GAAP.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify, design, and implement business process improvements for budget planning and forecasting cycles.
Partner with external sources to integrate required data into EPBCS using FDMEE and Data Management tools.
Provide training on best practices for Oracle EPBCS, FCCS & ARCS usage, reporting, and system maintenance.
Design and develop custom reports using Smart View for Excel and BI Publisher.
Define conversion methodology from legacy planning to Oracle.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Agile methodologies and participation in daily scrum and backlog refinement meetings.
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently at various development stages.
Must be detail‑oriented, highly organized, and results‑driven.
Position Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with sprint management tools such as Jira.
Ability to quickly grasp and learn new tools and technologies as needed.
Consistently demonstrates a thorough understanding of customer requirements and offers suggestions to improve user experience.
Essential Functions

Understand technology trends and their application to business and operating models.
Communicate and drive adherence to architectural standards and design principles.
Capture architectural goals and ensure patterns meet those goals.
Communicate the big picture to stakeholders at all levels.
Suggest the best solutions across platforms, software systems, and technologies.
Partner with business stakeholders to align on product vision and needs.
Provide technical specialization to ensure quality assurance and implementation excellence.
Communicate clearly and present complex information to non‑technical stakeholders.
Lead executive‑level meetings for reviewing product and roadmap prioritization.
Drive project planning, coordination, and detail for the Scrum Team.
Proficient in Oracle Service Request and Enhancement Request processes.
Proficiency in RBAC security model.
Proficient in SDLC, including design, testing, and development to deliver quality on time.
Working Conditions (Travel, Hours, Environment)
The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
Physical/Sensory Requirements Sedentary work—ability to exert 10–20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
