Senior Engineer, Electrical Engineering We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Engineer, Electrical Engineering for our Large Molecule (LM) manufacturing facility in Malvern, PA. This candidate will be the asset owner and subject matter expert (SME) of electrical and controls systems for the Malvern, PA manufacturing facility, working as an individual contributor and with small teams to implement equipment modifications, facility upgrades, and major maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support electrical asset lifecycle, including scoping, budgeting, approval, planning, execution, and turnover.

Investigate, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical equipment, controls, and instrumentation system failures.

Work with equipment OEMs and suppliers to identify and resolve equipment issues.

Ensure assigned project work is completed on time and on budget.

Directly supervise contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed safely, compliantly with SOPs, regulations, and company policies.

Identify improvement opportunities that will improve reliability, increase uptime, reduce spare parts consumption, and reduce compliance risks.

Qualifications Education

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Required Experience and Skills

Minimum 7 years of industry experience in an electrical engineering role.

Controls experience with VFDs, controllers for AHUs, freezers, and manufacturing skids, and control panel wiring.

Proficient in reading and interpreting P&IDs, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, electrical plans, or circuit diagrams.

Demonstrated ability to lead electrical aspects of complex capital projects and rapid troubleshooting of existing systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

Demonstrated proficiency in the Control of Hazardous Energy such as Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).

Preferred

Minimum 3 years of industry experience in the regulated pharma or biotech industry.

Electrical distribution expertise, including electrical switchgear and distribution, UPS systems, and emergency generators.

Knowledge of Maintenance and Reliability Best Practices.

Other

Primarily based at the Malvern, PA campus with support for the Spring House, PA site and may require travel up to 20% of their time.

This position may require up to 5% domestic and/or international travel for training and meetings.
