This role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $115,000 to $175,000 per year, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. The position is fully remote, allowing you to bring your expertise to our team from any location.

Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our team. As a Preconstruction Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating all preconstruction activities, providing vital input during the design, planning, and estimating phases of our construction projects. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop project strategies, review plans, and estimate costs, as well as manage client interactions and subcontractor negotiations.

Responsibilities

Manage all preconstruction activities, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

Conduct conceptual estimating to provide accurate cost projections.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop project strategies and plans.

Review and evaluate project plans and specifications to identify cost‑saving opportunities and design alternatives.

Lead client interactions, presenting project plans, updates, and cost estimates.

Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information and negotiate contracts.

Provide input on constructability and logistics, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.

Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction management within the construction industry.

Proven experience in conceptual estimating and client interaction.

Proficiency with construction management software and tools.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong negotiation skills with subcontractors and suppliers.

Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.

Ability to work remotely and maintain high productivity and communication.
