Director of Outpatient Services - LPC/LCSW

to join our team of professionals who are dedicated to providing help and hope to individuals and families. The role focuses on improving mental health outcomes and includes a local pain management component. The Director develops and administers a comprehensive outpatient program that responds to the community’s needs, oversees all outpatient services, and integrates these services into the Behavioral Health System’s continuum of care.

Brentwood Hospital is a 260‑bed psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment facility located in Shreveport, Louisiana. It has served Louisiana, East Texas, and South Arkansas for more than 45 years, providing quality services to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors in a safe and nurturing environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Designs partial treatment programs; all outpatient programs are adequately structured; treatment modalities are age and diagnosis specific, develops programs which easily interface with other inpatient and outpatient services provided by the organization.

Maintains effective, compatible relationships between the outpatient services and other programs provided within the Brentwood delivery system.

Carries out the personnel management activities associated with direct staff supervision, including screening and selection, orientation training and development, performance management, and employee relations functions.

Qualifications

Education:

Master’s Degree in behavioral science or mental health‑related field preferred, required.

Experience:

Clinical, supervisory, and administrative experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

LCSW or LPC required.
