Insurance Defense/Coverage Attorney

Base Pay Range $130,000 per year – $175,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
Handle a caseload of insurance defense matters, including general liability, premises liability, automobile, and related claims.
Conduct all aspects of litigation: discovery, motion practice, depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation.
Collaborate with clients and partners to develop defense strategies, ensure compliance with client guidelines, and provide high‑quality legal representation.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients regarding case developments and strategy.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Illinois.
Prior experience in insurance defense or related litigation is preferred.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
